Can Dak Prescott Keep The Cowboys Playoff Bound

Oh how the cowboys have problems, this latest one being that Tony Romo is gonna be out for 6-10 weeks. If you remember anything about last season you’ll remember that “dem boys” went 4-12 mainly because Romo was out due to injuries. The fact that Romo it’s going to be out for an extended period of time should something to worry about. To me Prescott seems a bit average from what I’ve seen of him.

Prescott should do just fine once he gets settled in their offense. Another thing that should help him ease in it’s Ezekiel Elliot who was pretty damn impressive and should be aforce to reckon with, one thing to notice is that he won’t last long if he takes hots the way he did against Kam Chancellor. Another big help is that he has one of the best WR’s in the league in Dez Bryant and a pretty decent #2 in Terrance Williams along with his O-line and depth at RB.

One of the biggest deterrents is going to be him adjusting to the NFL’s elite corners and more physical front 7’s. If he doesn’t learn how to read defenses well and sniff out disguises he’ll be throwing a lot of picks. Overall he can get the Cowboys to the playoffs but by the graces of a pretty weak division.

  1. A bit average?
Sorry to poke holes in your narrative, but the kid was the best QB in the preseason. Not best rookie,, BEST QB.nothing like letting facts get in the way of a story right? Let’s get a little better everyday moving forward ok? Ok.
