Texans Name Tom Savage as their Starting Quarterback

The Houston Texans 75 million dollar Quarterback has finally been benched after another dismal preformance this time around he struggled against the less than mediocre Jacksonville Jaguars. His replacement former Pitt QB Tom Savage managed to win the game after Osweiler was benched.

The Texans will most likely start Savage for the remaining 2 games and if he does good then he could become the starter for them in 2017, but that scenario bares a problem for Houston. The Texans would be stuck with a back up that has a considerable cap hit. It’s very likely that Osweiler will be their starting QB next year simply because they can’t trade him and his cap hit is high even though the Texans said that they wouldn’t have money be a factor when they choose their starter.
