Miami Heat set NBA record and miss the playoffs

Last night the Miami Heat fought for the 8th seed in Eastern Conference, a spot that would’ve had them in the playoffs. The Heat beat the Wizzards 110-102 to finish the season 41-41, unfortunately D-Wade and the Bulls also finished 41-41 after slaughtering the Magic & Nets in the final two games of the season. The Bulls claimed the 8th seed due to them owing the tie breaker.

Although the Heat missed the playoffs they set a NBA record. The Heat became the first team to end a season at .500 after being 19 games down (they started the season 11-30), the previous record was ending at .500 after being down 12 games. The effort the team put in has many saying that Heat coach Eric Spolestra should win Coach of the Year.
