Samsung Pay drops in India

The comptetor to Apple’s Apple Pay has made it’s way over to India. The release isn’t a full release so it most likely wont be used in a lot of stores.

The service initially launched in 2015 in South Korea and later to the US, Canada, China, and other countries. As of now  Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Standard Chartered, ICICI Bank support credit cards & debit cards. The service is also expected to be released in 6 other countries.

Apple releases “new” Iphone 6 in Asia

Apple somehow managed to release an iPhone without anyone knowing, the so called “new”iPhone 6 doesn’t really have any upgrades aside from it being a 32GB model.

With this iPhone being sold in an Asian market it could be a knockoff and according to BGR the phone is only available through certain carriers. Try and tell me that’s not a little bit suspect. Even if it’s legit the move still seems a bit odd for Apple

AT&T Overhauls Their Unlimited Data Plan

So 10 days ago AT&T dropped the ball when they dropped their new unlimited data plan. The plan itself was more expensive than any of it’s major competitors at $100, the plan also didn’t have mobile hotspot for some reason. AT&T did fix the plan by dropping the price down to $90 and including 10GB of Mobile Hotspot. The biggest downside is that you get throttled after 22GB are used.
The company also rolled out another version of the plan that’s cheaper and not nearly as good. The plan gives you unlimited 3G and no data for a Mobile Hotspot, you also don’t get HAD video only SD (480p)

Apple Rumored to announcea 128GB iPhone SE & other products in March

Rumors have been circulating around on the E-Streets that Apple is going to be debuting a few “new” products at am event in March. One of the  new products happens to be a 128GB iPhone SE.  If you don’t know what the SE is I’m gonna let you know that it’s basically the iPhone 5s with the internals of the iPhone 6. The She’s target is for the people who thought the 6 was just too big. Hopefully the 128GB model has some spec upgrades to go along with all that memory.

Apple is also Rumored to be bringing a red color way to the 7 and 7 plus which is an odd color choice for a phone, a dark blue or dark purple might’ve worked better. Outside of the new colorway the 7 and 7 plus won’t really be getting much. The red color way was originally believed to be for the 7s & 7s plus or the 8 & 8 plus/pro since there appears to be rumors that they’ll skip the S model this year.

The iPad is also another thing that’s going to have some changes to it. It’s believed that it will get a new iPad Pro line up that could sister of a 7.9″, 9.7″, 10.5″ models , & a rather monstrous 12.9″ inch model. All of the models excluding the 10.5″ inch model are expected to ship next month the one exclusion is expected to ship in May. With these bigger sizes I would hope that the iPads would get their own custom OS and not a blown up version of IOS.

Verizon Is Bringing Back Unlimited Data

It seems as though Verizon is really getting tired of these other carriers stealing their customers. To try and get more customers Verizon has brought back their unlimited data plan that’s been unavailable for about 6 years. The new plan isn’t insanely high but if you get a single line it will run you $80/ per month.

If you get 4 lines then you’ll be paying $45/per line every month. This turn around could signify that unlimited data is making a much welcome come back and hopefully AT&T follows suite. The only problem with this plan is that users might get throttled if they use too much data.

Fallout Shelter takes refuge on PC and Xbox One

The hit mobile game Fallout Shelter is making its way over to PC and Xbox one this week. The hit management game first came out in 2015 and was a huge success, the game managed to be one of the most downloaded games of 2015.

Fallout Shelter will be making it’s first appearance on console this month but it’s been available on PC for a good while. The game will remain free to play, it’s also the latest game to support Microsoft’s Play Anywhere feature meaning that you can transfer saves between devices. The new versions drop Tuesday February 7th.

Fire Emblem Heroes finally gets it’s trailer

Nintendo’ upcoming mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes finally has it’s trailer dropped and it shows some of the characters that are going to be in the game.  As expected Chrome, Martha, Lucina, and the purple haired woman from the latest entry in the series are going to be in the game. The trailer also showed how the gameplay will work. We also get to see that you’ll be against other FE characters and not just random grunts.

Outside of characters and gameplay I truly hope that the game doesn’t have that cheap corny music that the trailer has.

Fire Emblem is finally making it’s way to mobile.

Earlier today I happened to be on the app store and I noticed that you can pre-order Fire Emblem Heroes. For a good while now I’ve been saying that Fire Emblem should be available as a mobile game. As a fan of the franchise I’m pretty hype for this game to drop, which is somewhat strange since I usually don’t care for mobile games.

From what I’m seeing the game looks like it’ll play like just about every other Fire Emblem game. The plot of the game sets you as a summoner who can summon characters from previous FE games, the characters will most likely be main characters like Martha, Ike, Chrome, Lucina, etc. If you’re worried that the game won’t have original characters then don’t worry because there’s gonna be original characters in the game too. The biggest downside to this game is that you’ll apparently need an internet connection at all times to play the game so Nintendo can take an L for that.

If you’re wondering what characters are going to appear in the game then you should know that the fans decide that with the Choose Your Legends Event. Practically every FE character is eligible and I mean every damn character even ones from the OG games. If you’re gonna put in some votes then you should try to get the man Lon’qu in the game you so t regret it.

Is The IPhone 7 A Cop Or Not

So Apple has unveiled the IPhone 7 and I must say it looks better it looks better than I thought it would. Apple also added 2 new colors ( well more like a new one and brought back another color) those colors are black and jet black, and I must say the Jet Black IPhone 7 looks sexy. However there exists a few major problems, mainly the whole earphones debacle. Personally I like the fact that they’re going wireless, but the price tag of $159 is a bit much.

It seems as though the 7 will be faster but we’ll have to wait until it dropped to see how much faster. Apple has definetly put an emphasis on the camera this year especially  On the 7 plus’s dual lense camera.

The 7 is also waterproof which is definitely welcome ( don’t go throwing it a pool). Now back to the camera, apple now has software that allows for a more enhanced zoom which is god for people that like taking pictures. The front facing camera it’s now 7 megapixels meaning that all you selfie lovers can rejoice. Another thing worth noting is that there’s going to be dual speakers for the first time. This yet there is no actual “home button” but rather there is a solid state button which is pressure sensitive rather than an actual button….which is a bit odd.

This years models are said to provide “much better battery life” 2hrs on the 7 (compared to IPhone 6s) and 1hr on the 7 plus (compared to the 6s plus). The screen is also going to be 25% brighter. Something else thats pretty interesting is the fact that you’ll be able to answer calls from third party apps like whatsapp as if they were regular calls. Also the pricing starts at around $650 for the 32GB Iphone 7 and $750 for the 32GB IPhone 7 plus but if you dish out an extra $100 you can cop the 128GB versions of each phone.

Overall the IPhone 7 seems like it’s a go and is worth the buy but you’ll want to have a pair of wireless headphones which you can get for around $30. There’s a few features I didn’t mention like the Quad flash but they weren’t really worth talking about. If you’re interested in pre ordering one pre orders start September 9th and the official release is on September 16th.

Mobius Final Fantasy To Come Out In August For Android/IOS

First Final Fantasy Exivus and now Mobius, the Final Fantasy franchise certainly seem to be having quite the impact on mobile gaming these days, if you overlook the mobile re-releases then they have some dope free games. I don’t know if this game will be free but I do know that the graphics look beautiful especially for a mobile game.
